I recently had a client tell me that yoga and meditation don’t work for him. And, that he’s terrible at both. He gets in the poses, and his mind still jabbers in stressful conversation. He’s not the first person to express feelings of frustration and failure around such mindfulness activities. I, too, used to feel this way, until I learned the truth about meditation: There is no way to get it wrong. It works even when we think it’s not working.
